The height will ditermine how deep will your post set in the ground.You will need to check with your local villiage or city fence installation regulations to determine how deep the post must be set below the frost line.

A:The process does not need to change,as long as the process is one that incorporates cement for terminal and line posts. Holes for terminal posts are typically dug 8” in diameter and 18’’-30’’ deep; 6’’ in diameter and 18‘’-24’’ deep for line posts. For softer soils,use the deeper depth recommendations. Make sure all the posts vertical,centered in the hole and secured with cement.
